Sajid-Wajid made headlines last year with the blockbuster hit PARTNER and their decade old chemistry with Bollywod hunk Salman Khan is still creating waves. GOD TUSSI GREAT HO joins the fun and adds itself into the elite listing of their successful associations like MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, PYAR KIYA TO DARNA KYA, HELLO BROTHER, TUMKO NA BHOOL PAYENGA etc. Despite their successful chemistry, the film is heavily loaded with gargantuan presence of mighty Amitabh Bachchan, along with beautiful Priyanka Chopra as the other lead actors. Will these hilariously escapades of "God" meets "man" in Rumy Jaffery's directorial venture be able to recreate the magical melodic substance of hits like PARTNER or MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI again? Do check it out!
Sajid-Wajid take a huge inspiration from Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's composed 'Where's The Party Tonight' (KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA) with similar rip-roaring rhythmical disco arrangements in creating a disco fervor with effervescently peppy track 'Let's Party'. Shaan along with Sunidhi Chauhan creates a complete riot on floors with their energizing vocals in a loud streaming of zooming electronic sounds and bangs. It's an out and out party-loving song like "Just Chill" (MAINE PYAR KYUN KIYA) in terms of cinematic substance and do find some great jiving and dancing as it hit screens with great glitz and bang. There isn't much about Jalees Sherwani's lyrical contents but the chirpy wordings maintain the funky equilibrium of this frolicking song. The party feast gets extra dosages of rip-roaring disco outburst in its "remix" version with recurring electronically punched impacts.
Wajid makes hitherto moves in impersonating Salman Khan's baritones and vociferously amusing moves in delivering out a choreographically slick and jiving trendy soundtrack 'Tujhe Aksa Beach Ghuma Doon'. It has impressive Amrita Kak adding femininity in joyous overtones with electronically punched "Hai Hai" adding uproarious tinges into it. It's humorous punches reminds of ever-famous Salman Khan's song 'Ek Garam Chai' (HAR DIL JO PYAR KAREGA) with Shabbir Ahmed's witty one-liners making things even chirpier and funkier for listeners. The remix version by DJ A Myth is infectiously pulsating with thumping and resonating disco beat fillers adding moments of madness in this sprightly amusing number. If promoted with snazzy video clippings then it's likely to be a strong catalyzing factor in aggravating the prospects of this comical extravaganza.
'God Tussi Great Ho', a thematically oriented hilarious song about the heart-felt sentiments of the lively protagonist, who thanks God after being blessed with "mighty" powers! Sonu Nigam leads this sentimental journey that brings fun-frolicking endeavors while Shankar Mahadevan sings out the latter part of it. It's a Sajid-Wajid's patent style of funky song where the mood is uplifted with all sorts of flickering and buoyant pulsating sounds in creating a feel for this 'godly' fun feast. This title track may not be as frivolous as 'Do You Wanna Partner' (PARTNER) but delivers ample dosages of sidesplitting moments in its melodic appeal. 'God Tussi Great Ho (remix)' by DJ A Myth sounds as an upbeat theatrical promos special song, where the disco beat fillers are infused in its accelerated tempo to deliver a hilariously melodramatic feel of the film to the target viewers.
